Second International Workshop on
Second International Workshop on “Natural Language Processing for Sustainability” (NLP4S 2024) (AISD 2024)
Objective:
There are 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) towards which everyone in the world is committed. Artificial Intelligence (AI) can be a big support in achieving these goals. People in the world are interacting through various mediums about sustainability and also reacting to the events happening around it. So, a branch of AI, Natural Language Processing (NLP) can be a good tool to identify people’s reactions toward achieving these goal. Much of the research going around the globe is centered around NLP tools and techniques to extract valuable information. The objective of this workshop is to bring these researchers together and discuss the ideas presented by them, specifically in the domain of NLP and sustainable development.
Call for Papers
The workshop's objective is to involve all top researchers, promising academic scientists and research scholars to exchange their knowledge and share research results regarding all state-of-the-art developments in NLP that empower sustainability. It also provides an opportunity for educators, practitioners, and researchers to discuss and present the latest trends and hands-on challenges faced, along with possible solutions proposed for sustainable development. The primary interest of this workshop on “NLP for Sustainable Development” is to assemble a set of research papers based on novel techniques showing original, current state-of-art, and recent research on the given theme and how they can be of help in providing solutions to problems faced by society.
